For Hosts/Organizations:
Bring Just So You Know to Your Organization
If you are a cancer center, hospital, cancer clubhouse or other organization that
gives support to people with cancer, we can bring Just So You Know to you. This
is a chance for you to offer your clients and patients the unique opportunity to
spend precious quality time with friends and relatives, just talking, listening and
sharing stories.
What We Need from You
All we need is a liaison to help coordinate the program and handle scheduling and
some other administrative details. We also need a quiet, comfortable room to
conduct recording sessions, a space for our introductory event (described below).
And, of course, we need participants.
What We Bring
Just So You Know will provide all the equipment and handle the set up and the
recording of each session. We provide each participant with a copy of their
interview on DVD and take care of archiving the originals.
We understand that the thought of sitting down for an interview session can be
overwhelming. Therefore, the day before the first recording day, we offer, in an
appropriate space at your location, an improvisational comedy workshop by New
York City-based professional comedienne Jacqueline Kabat. Jacqueline's interactive, hilarious, low
pressure seminar teaches the art of improv and helps the interview partners open
themselves up to new challenges and experiences. As Jacqueline says, "When
people are having fun, they're relaxed. When they're relaxed, they're listening
and communicating, and that's when one is able to overcome fears and
insecurities..." Her program is specifically designed to get interview partners
laughing and excited for their recording session. For more information about
Jacqueline, please visit her website at www.jacquelinekabat.com.
Is it Free?
We wish it were possible! We are committed to making our program affordable,
easy and accessible to our host organizations. Please contact us to discuss our
reasonable fees for the program. |
